Lodging near Universal Studios

There are not nearly as many hotels near Universal Studios as there are around Disney World, so if you want to stay near Universal Studios then you are going to pay a little more money. Our suggestion to get the best prices on a hotel room, but still stay near Universal is to find a hotel on International Drive. Since Universal Studios is located closer to the downtown area of Orlando there is not any vacation home communities close by. If you want to stay in an Orlando vacation home you are probably going to be some 20 minutes away.
